complained of and after some discussion it was decided that an en gineer would be called in to make au award and have tho conditions re garding the ditch in that neighbor hood definitely outlined to the inter ested parties all interested in the drain will be notified of a meeting by the clerk wheh will be held in the near future residents of helen aveune com plained of the condition of the ditch and of a certain culvert the matter was referred to engineer babcock a bill for the lighting of streets in thornhill was received amounting to 32820 for that period from feb ruary 11th to october 11th suitable for mounting when a suitable place is decided on the motion was carried unanimously and the comments of the members made it very clear that there was no evidence of any senti ment other than that of the utmost respect for any such memorials o the great war as might be available for the township for mounting and erecting in public places if it is found that the township has avail able certain trophies which can be located they will probably be suit ably erected either at the memorial rink or at the township hall the yearly bylaw fixing the date of nominations as monday december
