leg being completely severed from the body between the knee and ankle her husband rushed to the house and summoned help but before medical aid arrived mrs scott was almost exhausted froin loss of blood and from the shock her condition was so serious it was deemed advisable to remove her at once fo the hos pital when further amputation was necessary- it is believed that still another operation
