the wrist and fractur ing the left shoulder as well as being shaken up quite seriously mrs dawson mistook the cellar door for the one entering to a stairway up at the time of the accident her parents mr and mrs elias lehman also mr a g lehihan and miss ida of stouffville were there spending the day it is fortunate that mrs dawson was not fatally injuredand her friends will be glad to know she is and have just reach ed the 50th anniversary of their wedded life mr sanders is 79 years of age while his life partner is nearly two years his senior it was away back in 1s69 55 years ago when mr sanders landed in canada from his native home in devonshire england he settled in this locality right away and was married at hagermans hill his wife being a native of markham township being born on tht 6th concession mr sanders recalls that on his wed ding day he was loaned an umbrella last saturday when in that village he called in and returned thanks for the loan of 50 years ago his first position when a young man here was with the late edward wheler and mr sanders ploughed as the first job assigned to him the land from the station about so rods north and up to the 9th concession this ground is now dotted with houses mr and mrs sanders have three sons living william and blake of stouffville and rev edward san ders of rosctown sask the fam ily are among the very oldest on the membership of the local methodist sorved the church on tuesday july 10th 1923 at the ringwood christian church by the rev mr morton esther oletha daughter of mrs emma maria brownsberger was married to bruce willson son of mrs isabelle morton the church was well filled with guests and friends after the ser vice the bride and groom followed by their guests went to the home of mr and mrs albert reesor the wife being a sister of the bride where all had a time of real enjoy ment mr and mrs morton went for a trip through muskoka they both expect to go to porto rico as missionaries sometime in
