JASPER - Peacefully at home, on Thursday, September 24, 2009, Jerrold “Jerry” Jasper of Woodstock in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Barbara. Dear father of Carol Bateman (Wayne) of Milton, Wendy Vandevyvere of St. Thomas, Robert Jasper of Woodstock, and Richard Jasper (Jeff) of London. Loving grandfather of Ryan, Daniel, Janae, Dayna and Kyra. Dear brother of Robert Jasper of Caledon and brother-in-law of Rosemary Davis of Clarkson. Uncle of Anne, Michael, Tony and Shelagh. Jerry was very active in Scouting and at Camp Shegardaynou for 45 years. Friends will be received at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock on Friday, 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Canon Richard A. Jones officiating. Interment at the Anglican Cemetery.
