SWANCE - Peacefully at the Woodstock General Hospital on Friday, January 23, 2009, Lillian Swance (nee Case) of Woodstock. Beloved wife of 63 years of Max Swance. Much loved by her daughter Maxine Harwood and her husband Don. Cherished grandmother of Lori Nieuwhof of Woodstock and much treasured great grandmother of Jordan and Leanne. Lillian is survived by her brother Wallace and his wife Phyllis of Port Franks. Dear sister-in-law of Carl Swance and his wife Phyllis of London and Lillian Whitehead of Woodstock. Lillian is a dear aunt to her nieces and nephews and extended family Debbie and John Simpson and family of Woodstock. Friends will be received at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004), on Monday, January 26, 2009 after 12:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be held in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Bill Meade officiating.
