DUNN - Patricia “Pat” M. Dunn (nee Evans) of White Rock, BC passed away peacefully in her 87th year on Saturday, December 13, 2008 surrounded by her children, after suffering a stroke. Adored by her late husband, Colin, Pat will be remembered by her children Judy, Peter (and wife Laura) and Malcolm. Aunt to many nieces and nephews, Pat was a devoted grandmother to Catrin, David, Conner and Samantha, and great-grandmother to Jacob and Luke. During WWII, Pat served proudly in the Auxiliary Territorial Services Corp during the Blitz and later in Ascot, UK with the Auxiliary Dental Corps. After the war, she and Colin immigrated to Canada to raise their growing family, and worked as a ward clerk at Woodstock General Hospital. She was a dedicated volunteer, contributing her time and efforts to many worthy causes, right up to her death. Pat will be remembered fondly by many good friends in Ontario, BC and abroad. Please, no floral tributes. Instead, donations to your local Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Peace Arch Hospital and Community Health Foundation or the St Paul's Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. A celebration of Pat's life will be held at a later date. To be notified of the celebration event please send an email to g-nain@infoserve.net
