VARGA – Mr. Joseph Varga of Second Avenue, Delhi passed away at the Delhi Long Term Care Centre on Thursday, February 21, 2008 in his 86th year. Member of the Delhi District Hungarian House. Beloved husband of Ethel Varga (nee: Koczka). Loving father of Joseph Varga Jr (Lorrie), Woodstock and Ethel Cripps (David), London. Cherished grandfather of Deidre, Braden, Kevin, Eric and great grandfather to baby Clinton. Also survived by his nephew Joe Horvath of San Antonio, Texas. Predeceased by his granddaughter Lisa Cripps (1989) and by his brother Frank Varga (1921). Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi for visitation on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and for Prayer Service at 3:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Calvin Presbyterian Church, Delhi on Monday, February 25, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Ferenc Szatmari officiating. Interment in St. Ladislaus Cemetery, Courtland. Donations to the Calvin Presbyterian Church will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
