night which will be industrial snd will have to be held on the branch open nights to allow the member s ladies to participate one jht each cck there will be men s shuftleboard with cash prizes these are scheduled to com mence in the early fall and continue through to spring all this will keep sports chairman bill collier and the ways and means committee quite busy any brlehr idaas your ways and means com mittce is headed by vice pres ident mike lorusso is rnad up of comrades harry bottom gord king harold henderson lloyd boyd and earl emoad if you have any bright ideas to improve anything at all at the branch take your suggestions to sny member of the commit tee they are keen to fcear new ideas another chairman who has been working hard and at last is beginning to see results for his 13 was as usual a tremendous success the chicken which was prepared and cared for by gourmet tommy gadd head chef assisted by his son in law was most delectable and thor oughly enjoyed by all presentations were made to our guests from overseas by vice president harry bottom guests from beyond canada a shores were mr and mrs f hcdcrmott brother and sister inlaw to comrade eddy mc dermott
