space of a million square feet n agreement was signed with an unnamed firm in the early hours of tuesday morning for sale of some 35 industrial acres owned by the town 1000 an acre extra acreage is being purchased from metro politan halton development co the agreement which is to be consummated in 30 days requi res the town to obtain an acre of land from canadian national railways which the firm requi res and to close a large port ion of todd road construction on an initial 250000 square feet of factory would begin within a year and be completed within 18 months itfixemployment would be about 250 the news broke at a council meeting just after midnight when the town solicitor fred helson and bruce mclaughlin president of the development firm arrived at the meeting they had been in touch by
