who has a post in eng land most sidewalks in the village have been impassible since the big storm of january 23rd this has forced pedestrians to walk on the highway and it is imp ossible to get out of the way of the traffic as the sides of the highway is piled high with the snow from the snow ploughs clearing the roads school chil dren have had to dodge the tra ffic for the past two weeks some residents reported the danger to members of bsques- ing council and they promised to- investigate the condition it is action that is needed before is a seriou accid of i course the council may ukthc same view of the snow covered sidewalks as an old timer who was far past being able to sho vel snow used to say im wail ing for the guy who put it on there to take it off again apparently there is no by law that says people have to shovel the snow off the side walk past their property some residents make no attempt to shovel the snow no matter how large or small the snowfall others are elderly and are un able to tackle a large snowfall so others who are willing and able to clear the snow think what is the use unless neigh bours also clear the sidewalk a few still continue jo shovel with the result that we now have a few odd clear spots that lead to nowhere but high snow banks and we have no place to walk but the roads if you have found life rather boring lately and would like to live dangerously for a bit just try visiting someone jn- tho vil lage without your car especial ly a friend who lives on the highway and play the game norval school children and ven juresome pedestrians have been forced to play recdntly called dodge the traffic be sure you wear old clothing that you do not mind getting splattered with mud and slush do not at tempt it however unless you can iook both ways at once jump quickly and climb a snow bank if necessary this is guar anteed to shake you up a bit at icist i bologna 39 sausage 59 wieners 19 prices effective this weekcml thun frlsat feb 10 11
