and other members of the family against accidents occuring in the operation of he farm business the cost varies with the occupation in the case of agriculture the rate is 200 for each 100 of the xmblckmflg attempt direction of hog marketings onjanuary 6th mr henry who lived at r r 1 campbellville is survived by his wife hannah rogers children john of campbellville mrs j scharrer st thomas and mrs finlay mocal- lum milton and a brother samuel of san francisco interment in ebenczer united church cemetery followed the fun eral service in milton last tuesday jfi w in an effort to strengthen the ontario hog producers marketing scheme an attempt is being made by the officials of the ontario hog producers association to have at least 50 of ontario hogs mar keted on the public stock yards until recently aproximatcly 95 of the ontario hogs were going direct to the processors plants sinte this program was undertak en the percentage going to the public stock yards his increased to around 20 according to charles mclnnis president of the ontario hog producers associa tion who addressed four meetings in halton recently for the first time in the history of this pro vince despite heavy marketings we v got an increased price for our hogs in middecember this he attributed to the processors having to compete for their full 7 requirements with one another on the public market it was our privilege to hear mr mclnnis at two of the four meetings and it is our opinion that he presented some very logical arguments in support of the idea of marketing a larger percentage of our hogs on the public stock yards personally we fail to see how the idea can lose the producer anything so we would suggest thfit every halton producer try out mr mclnnis idea for a year that is all halton hogs to go to the public stock yards ask cooperation in traffic control police chief- roy haley has re quested the cooperation of the georgetown citizens in regards to traffic contrbl at the intersection of
