while no definite decision has been taken on a new plant it is expected that when the industrial area of del rex is built up the present treatment plant will not be adequate to take care of the towns see signs of industrial building in delrex he voted against the mo tion engineer wilson suggested that council consider some sort of bylaw governing industrial waste disposal in order to safeguard present or fu ture sewage plants from trouble caus ed by toxic wastes certain industries such as packing plants tanneries plating or paper processing can play havoc with a sewerage system he said unless waste products are required to be pre treated a policy has been adopted which will require property owners to pay charges of fixing stopped sewer lines if investigation proves that the stop
