cast ballots leas than half of the number vot ing in the last election in 1951 in that year with election for mayor reeve and council there were 1340 voters a blustery cold winter day was partly to after the death of her husband mis griffin thomp son died last wednesday in milton private hospital member of an old bsquesing fam ily she was the former ada ethel nixon daughter of the late mr and mrs james nixon and was born at ashgrove since her marriage she had lived most of her life in hamilton where mr thompson was an anglican clergyman for thirty years with her husband she shared parish
