on friday and saturday when georgetown and cop per cliff midgets tangle in a best twobutofthree game aeries at the local arena the first game will be played on friday night the second on sat urday afternoon with a third game if necessary being slated for monday twelve eager youngsters from the norbhland will disembark from the canadian national railway at 746- pm tomorrow thursday night and they all have the same intention in mind to take back the calder cup to copper gllff the cup emblematic of midget hockey championship is now in possession of the georgetown team which is sponsored by the george town lions club the cup was won by the local team in a thrilling series in copper cuff last year with two wins and a tie credited to the lions copper cliff had won the silverware ihe year before when it was first offer ed or competition both these series were played in the northern town and this will be halton countys first glimpse at the highly- touted copper differs most of the boys are no strangers i to georgetown sport fans however as they have played baseball in the little world series and they are looking forward to revisiting the town which always gives a royal welcome to been able to learn on authority whether milton lost their deposit or not but georgetowns cheque was returned the milton club tried to renege and bluff the georgetown club that they bad not protested friday night chuck hill- chuck is an allround utility man who la gaining experience with the midgets and may surprise the tans if he gets into action in the series this popular coach of the local
