bring to a boll stirring now and then simmer 5 minutes add maple favodng to ulte about v tsp i thought id like to try making turkish delights this year but neither recipe i used was quite what i had in mind the one using jelly powder was far firmer you need a good chomp to eat them and the gelatine one was softer but both were fun to make turkish delight put 3 6oz pkgi of lime lemon or orange flavored gelatine in a medium uucepan add 1 cup boiling water stir to mix simmer over low heat for 5 minutes stir in i tbip lemon juice pour into wet 8 inch square pan cool until firm cut into 1inch squares tots in confectioners sugar dainties mix 2 envelopes unflavored gelatine vi cups sugar pinch salt thoroughly in urge saucepan add 116 cups water and bring to a boil stirring until gelatine is dissolved simmer is mint add vi tsp peppermint extract and a few drops green food coloring pour into 8x4 loaf pan let stand in cool place not refrigerator overnight loosen with wet sharp knife pull brampton acton streetsville and burlington prior to the wedding a linen shower was given by mrs a t woodley and mrs r hayward a kitchen and pantry shower was held by miss ruth mason cohosted by mrs lome ella and mrs g newell a miscellaneous shower was given by mrs h blyth miss peggy blyth and miss dianne sanderson also a church shower by the ucw of ebenezer church sincere thanks to acton
