produce plump seed late seeded grain crops have not grown as well as normal jcom is considerably behind normal on many fields early- planted corn on the heavy clay soil was very slow in germinat ing because of the cool damp spring a large percentage rot ted in the ground while some was attacked by wireworms and cutworms at rapine has given excellent control of weeds when applied in early june
