classroom in the new addition to the pub lic school the primary grades and grade eight will be taught in the new wing with the most modern of facilities the desk unite as seen in the picture are of natural birch and the walls aro of two pastel shades nine ceiling fixtures light text books at the pupils desks while indirect lighting fixtures at the front of the room throw additional light on the front blackboard the teachers desk and chair may be seen at the front of the room drapes put up in each classroom this week arc not pictured in the centre of the front wall above the blackboard is the box from which records radio programs the voice of principal g w mckenzie the recess bell and the fire alarm will come on the intercommunication system the school like this room is all ready for occupancy tuesday stall photo crowd of 2500 greets swift cu boy band from out of the west came one at the most colorful and entertain ing bands to play to an acton audience about 2no0 residents of
