riven n bylaw authorising the borrowing of 76000 at the regular meeting of council friday of last week the bylaw will be forwarded to the municipal board for approval this money is for the completion and additions to the sewerage system being installed it will be added to the wa0000 expenditure approved nt a municipal election and make the sewerage system a 425300 project the money is to be borrowed at four per cent interest council accepted the annuall auditors report with the proviso b- b m utilities adjusts charges for water that the cemetery account be re- checked this was done because the land value on property fov sale was considered incorrect the report showed a deficit of 0 48334 print ed copies of the report were to be prepared and distributed a representative of a toronto bonding house suggested to council that it might be wise fp sell the bonds covering the public school addition now because of market conditions rather than waiting until the ond of the year council decid ed to arrange meeting of the re presentative and the finance com mittees of the public school board and the council lome garner presented an ex planation of his tender price on the fire truck chassis delayed delivery had caused unforseen price increas es of over 115 mr garner assured council of the validity of his tender but asked councils consideration in meeting a portion of the expenses since he had sold the truck on a no profit basis councillor e taylor chairman of the fire committee re commended that council accept half the increased cost a- motion was tabled to this
