McGILLIS, Gerald Eugene - (Former
owner of the McGillis Hotel, Peterborough).
At Northumberland Hills Health Centre,
Cobourg, on Thursday September 13, 2007.
Gerry McGillis of Gore’s Landing, in his 79th
year. Beloved husband of Donna (Bristow).
Dear father of Leslie of Gore’s Landing and
Ian (Janet) of Peterborough. Loving
grandfather of Heather and Holly. Brother of
the late Donald E. McGillis, and uncle to 9
nieces and nephews. Brother-in-law to Joan
McGillis of Peterborough. A private family
Graveside Service will take place at St.
Peter’s Cemetery, Peterborough. The
Reverend Phelan Scanlon officiating. If
desired, memorial donations to the Dialysis
Unit, Northumberland Hills Hospital,
Cobourg would be appreciated and may
