neat the annual course for scout ead- ra la beta held this week at blue spring reserve with half a dozen pa trols taking the course the course opened on monday under the direc tion of field secretary arthur e perfden his assistants and demonstrators include assistant provincial commis sioner frank c irvln district scout master walter urooo district com- mlsstoners d johnston and oorgo mason field secretary ii e d mit chell provincial council vicepresi dent arthur richardson and acting dominion commissioner for training w i cunie jr next week the course for cub leaders opens at this reserve when on even larger group will be in attend ance the course will continue all that week thanksbadge presented by scouts mr geo watson wheels and tires removed from car stolen here the car belonging to i- e atkin son which was stolen on july loth was recovered on sunday last four of the tires and wheels were remov ed the tops for the gas tank and radiator were taken and the hose from the healer had been removed evidently in an effort to syphon some gas from the tank no us was how ever taken the car was found in the tnh nhodt a mile and a half west of spey- side it had been driven several hundred
