Peacefully at Dufferin Oaks, Shelburne, on Tuesday, November 11, 1997 in her 97th year. Wife of the late Elmer and dear mother of Maurice and his wife Eleanor. Loving grandmother of Brian and Janet and Terry and Linda, Peter and Gail and Chris and Jan and nine great-grandchildren. Bessis (Brinkman) was born in Mulmur Township, Ontario in 1902 where she and all of her family still reside. She was strongly active in the Whitfield Womens' Institute, the United Church and the lives of her family and friends.
