Spring Choring At Rofary Park The advent of Spring brought the need of action in the Park to the minds of the Rotary Club members, when Jack Lecky re- ported the need of repairs for the power mower, the slides, general painting and other clean-up jobs. A suggestion was advanced that if the members would donate three or four afternoons, and work as a group, much could be accomp- lished- without the expenditure of too many funds. Last. week .Tom Parry's dis- course on teaching methods. and the practical part which has been £ played by philosopkers in the de- velopment of them, was enjoyed, and resulted in an interesting dis- cussion afterwards,* particularly in the area of technical educa- tion. The local Club Bulletin remind- ed members of the fact that last year, cancer killed 22,000 Canad- ians and that the representatives: of the Tri-Town branch of the Soc- iety will be calling for support with the Slogan, "Fight Cancer with a Check-up and a Cheque".
