Carter of Mcintyre Mines' Castle-Tretheway operation. at Gowganda will consider proposals through which- the mines might refine their own concentrates with- in the Cobalt area. ~ Teen Town Group To Organize - The Canadian Legion, Branch 54, and the Ladies' Auxiliary are com- bining to sponsor the formation of a Teen Town group. A meeting was held Tuesday night with the executives of both organizations and the interested young people of the town, to elect an executive for the group. Named as president was Angus Hogan, with Norman Fox, vice- president and Doreen Hunt, secre- Directors included George Culhane, Art; Phil Perry, door; Bob Grozelle, or- ganization. This new executive will meet at the home of the president | on Thursday night to: form com-| | mittees to work with the directors, and to make tentative plans for fu- ture activities.
