Conroy president, chaired the meeting. The meeting opened with the singing of "O' Canada". The colors were advanced by Com- arde O'Rorke. Two minutes sil- ence for fallen Comrades was observed and prayers were re- cited. Pianist was Mrs. F. Ads- head. The financial report was given by the treasurer. Mrs. L. Jenn- ings, Plans were made for all Auxiliary members and Veteran members to meet at the Cobalt Legion Lounge Sunday, at 10.30 a.m, to honor the Remember ance Day and parade to the church service at the United church at 11 a.m., and {parade to the Cenotaph at 1:30 p.m., from the Legion Hall. They also planned their tag Poppy Day for Saturday, November 9th. Correspondence included a re- quest for the Auxiliary Ladies to cater for a Turkey \dinner in the Community Hall. on Dec- ember 4th. when two hundred and fifty guests will be present. The birthday cake, mounted on a revolving musical cake plate, which chimed "Hap- py Birthday" was the center of attraction. The cake contained the usual favors and charms.
