During his speech, Mr Dobbin was very intersted in the settle- ment and growth of this district The theme - of his talk was of the need and the achtivements of Rotary in this district and thro- ughout the world. He also stated that although there is always room for more Rotary Clubs and larger memberships, the presi- dent of Rotary International, A. Z. Baker, was not too interst- ed the expansion of Kotary Clubs but the extention of the work which is being done, and to enject more spirit of R otary into mem- bers. M. Doddln admired the Rot- ary Park and beach, praised the work of our club towards helping crippled chrildren, the Halloween party and was very pleased with the apprectian of ou club by many residents in the district. He could also forsee an econle cha- nge with the coming Natural Gas line and the need for silver and cobalt in industry. The district governor noticed the individu- ality which exists in our clu and was pleased with the influence it has in the district. In the east Ro- tary is a spearhead to eductation and health and in time of war or trouble Rotary is a go-between.
