Smith Sees Bright Future for Golf Club The Haileybury Golf Club qlosed its season on Sunday with one hundred and sixty peo- ple participating in one of the most enjoyable evenings in the history of the Club. The occa- sion was the annual presentation of golf prizes preceded by a sup- per party arranged by the Ladies Section, In thanking the Stewardess. Mrs. A. J. Brown, the Profes- sional, Percy Hitchen, the Ladies' Section and the Men's Executive for their efforts during the past season, President Terry Smith pointed out that success could only be achieved by every mem- ber taking a part in the affairs of the Club. "We need," he said "one fifth more members next year and I sincerely believe that they can be securedif every mem- ber will do his or her part."
