He was a passenger on the regu- lar T.C.A. Flight through here, and the plane was serviced at our hig airport for slightly longer than the usual routine stop, a minor wheel repair job being done. In spite of the short and quite unheralded lay-over, word of the famous air fighter of Malta here sped to town on the phone, and a scattering of folks dashed out to the airport by auto and bicycle to glimpse him.--Kapus- kasing Tribune. O----------_ WANT LIGNITE FUEL Citing the fuel shortage as the reason 'for the action, the town council adopted the following re- solution: "Due to the difficulty experi- enced during the past winter in obtaining fuel for domestic con- sumption and a possibility of a greater shortage next winter, "Resolved, that this "council petition the Ontario government to do all in their power to make available the lignite fuel of the north, which in our opinion, will assist in overcoming the present fuel shortage.'"--Cochrane North- land Post.
