What's On in Penetanguishene Computer training adds up in Midland The Midland-Pene- tanguishene Business and Industrial Training committee has purchased 10 seats in a computer laboratory. The lab will be set up at Midland Secondary School this summer with a fall start up. The BITC is encourag- ing the business and in- dustrial community to register early on a waiting list. Two week courses will be offered in subjects such as WordPerfect, Multimate, Lotus 1-2-3, dBase 111, MSDOS, ac- counting packages and a Kickstart program which encourages people to move into computer ac- tivity. Courses are $12 per course per person. The BITC is a non- profit organization of in- dustrial and business peo- ple who plan and start training programs and create awareness for skills needed by the community. These BITC sponsored programs are available to personnel and companies in the same area as covered by the Canada Employment Centre in Midland. For information call 526-5247. Events Fashion Show: A children's spring fashion show will be presented April 9 from 12 noon - 2 p-m. by Children's Marketplace of Midland and Gignac Children's Wear of Penetang on behalf of Midland Nursery School.
