The Penetanguishene arena will become the set- ting for 'Wonderland' where some 160 skaters will perform for parents and friends. Alice in Wonderland is the theme for the first half with Winter Wonderland the second. The audience will see snow fairies and icicles on ice and a spectacular finale as all the senior -skaters portray the Nor- thern Lights. A highlight of the carnival will be a dance featuring six male guest skaters paired with 6 female skaters from the Penetanguishene club. Guest skaters will daz- zle everyone with their skill. Featured will be Jeff Cann and Charlene Slugoski who competed as junior dance pairs at the Canadian Champion- ships. Cann and Slugoski skate out of the Kerry Leitch figure skating school in Kitchener. Representing Mariposa School the of Skating will be soloists ival to start Mary Angela Larimer and Elvis Stojko. Tracy Robertson will visit from Toronto. Two performances will be held. The matinee begins at 1:30 p.m. with night performance following at 7. Tickets are adults $4, and children under 12, $2.
