Penetang has touch Cont'd from pg. 14 rivals but lacked sharp- ness around the opposi- tion net. Penetang returned to Collingwood Sunday and fell behind 2-0. However, Tim Mason put Penetang on the board at the 5:08 mark on a solo effort. With just 36 seconds left in the frame, | Coll- ingwood regained its two-goal lead. Starting the third, Penetang countered with five consecutive markers as David Brooks and Chris Marchildon tied the score early. Tim Maheu gave Penetang its first lead, scoring before the three minute mark. Brooks scored again minutes later from Chris Leonard and Chris Diesveld. Maheu counted his second with less than six minutes remaining to make it 6-3. Another goal by Collingwood cut the lead to a pair before Mason scored his second for a 7-4 lead. The hosts notched a marker in the last minute, but fell two short. Following a shaky start, Mike Marchildon was steady in the Penetang net.
