Gil Desroches won their third game of the week by dropping Elmvale 2 by a score of 7-2. The score was tied 1-1 after the first period, but Penetang outscored the visitors 5-2 in the middle frame. Loss heartbreaker The Sixth Annual Marauders McDonald's Junior Invitational Basket- ball Tournament was held Friday and Saturday with eight teams participating. Midland, Penetang, Bar- rie North Collegiate In- stitute and Lo-Ellen Park of Sudbury comprised Pool 1, while St. Theresa's, Brad- ford District High School, ODCVI and O'Neill Col- legiate and Vocational In- stitute of Oshawa were in Pool 2. Midland captured the championship in each of the last four years and won the Consolation title in the first year of their tourney.
