Be a part of it... | Riviera Restaurant The Riviera Restaurant, in downtown Midland is owned by Tula and Bob Tesseris. After owning a restaurant in Toronto for a number of years they decided to get out of the hustle and bustle of the "'big city" and in 1970 they bought the Riviera. The restaurant has an extensive menu to choose from with a breakfast special starting at 5:30 a.m. each morning, until 11:00 a.m., and luncheon and dinner specials every day. The staff at the Riviera consists of Bob and Tula, Susie, Morley, Beth and Cory all working together € giving their customers fast and friendly service and great food. Tula and Bob are in the midst of giving the restaurant a facelift, so all of their spare time is spent with the business. When time does permit Tula says she . loves to go shopping, dancing and in the summer months just soaking in the sun. The Tesseris have two boys ages 23 and 26, one being a civil enginer with Esso in Toronto and the other going through for the same. Its first loca- tion was where the Peoples store now stands. In 1950, Woolworth's moved to its present location at 285 King Street.
