Lewis Rose is a Canadian citizen resident in Toronto and has for the last three and one-half years been an Assistant Vice-President in the Mergers and Acquis- tions Department of Wood Gundy Inc., Toronto. He holds a B. Comm. from the University of Toronto and is also a Chartered Accountant. He takes up his duties immediately and will be based in Maple Leaf Toronto offices. Maple Leaf Mills Limited is one of Canada's largest diversified agriproducts companies. Major prizes are award- ed each month and consist of a $1,200 letter of credit to be used towards any Wardair holiday package to anywhere at anytime prior to December 1988. Major prize winners unable to select a suitable holiday package may elect to accept a $1,000 cash prize towards future travel. The minor prize winner this month was Gordon Walker of Wyebridge. The art show, one of many attractions at the three-day festival, begins with a special Art Preview evening at the Centre on Friday, Sept 18 at 7:30 p.m. Feature Artist Michael Dumans, known _ as Canada's most authoritative artist on en- dangered species, will pre- sent a slide show. "This was a very popular evening at last year's festival, so be sure to buy your tickets early," says Anne Connell, art program co-ordinator.
