State mE PBR DRGs Bei aaa acta 'Contracting bus cheaper: town After hearing the result of an investigation, the Midland public works committee has decided that contracting bus ser- vice is desirable. Public works general manager Ken Cave was directed to investigate whether the town might run its transit service itself at less cost, using its employees. Of the 19 municipalities with 25,000 or fewer peo- ple surveyed, only four run their own bus service, Cave reported. In each case, the cost is higher than Midland's cost of paying a company to provide the service. The bus operation con- tract, which expires later this year, will be offered for bid. Queen's Cove has begun to carry the line of Nissan outboard motors, which range in size from 3.5 to 70 horsepower. Boat owners have a choice of 63 models of Nissan outboard motor.
