Last Liberal meet is coming up The third and last infor- mal all-candidates meeting for Simcoe East Liberals will be held on Thursday, in Oro Township. Last Sunday Simcoe East Liberals gathered at the Medonte Township residence of Alan Martin. Dr. Richard Thomas, Sharon O'Neill, Ingi Gould, John Gould and Fran Moreau then fielded ques- tions and commented upon anecdotes from the audience. Members and _ their families were reminded a number of times in this ex- change that the key to con- trol of the diabetic condi- tion is knowledge, which is so readily available from the CDA. Gignac trial date set A date for the start of the trial of the woman charged with setting fire to St. Margaret's Church has not been set. A trial date for Lillian Gignac of Midland was to have been selected in court in Barrie last Friday. The assignment of a trial date was put over to June 12. Since her arrest, Gignac has been confined to the Penetanguishene Mental Health Centre. She is charged with setting fire to a house, as well as the Dec. 24, 1986 sburning of Midlands landmark Roman Catholic Church. home and Dirty work.
