aaa _ Obituary George Marshall The funeral mass of the late George Melvin Mar- shall of Midland was held on April 13, 1987, in St. Mark's Anglican Church. Fr. Tony Vander Vechte officiated. Mr. Marshall, of 586 King Street, died at age 72 on April 10, after three months' illness, in Huronia District Hospital. The native of Washago, Ont., worked for Royal LePage for three years. Previously, he was a self- Gladys Martin Mrs. Gladys Martin of 208 Church Street, Pene- tanguishene died April 9, 1987 at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, following a brief illness at the age of 90 years. Mrs. Martin was born and raised in the Pene- tanguishene area and had lived most of her life up the shore of Georgian Bay, where she and her late hus- band were employed as caretakers for various cot- tages. Mrs. Martin had returned to live in Pene- tanguishene for the last 17 years. Funeral services were held at St. Ann's Memorial Church, Penetanguishene on April 13 with Rev. R. Andrews as the celebrant of the funeral mass. Inter- ment will follow later this spring at St. Ann's Cemetery, Penetanguishene. Pall bearers were Don Lillian Faragher Mrs. Lillian Faragher of 42A Harriet Street, Pene- tanguishene died April 8, 1987 at the Pene- tanguishene General Hospital following a brief illness at the age of 88 years. Mrs. Faragher was born and raised at Lafontaine and had lived for many years in both North Bay, Ontario and in California. She had been a resident of Penetanguishene for the last 8 years. Exilda Charlebois Mrs. Exilda Charlebois died suddenly at her home in Penetanguishene on April 11, 1987 at the age of 76 years. Mrs.Charlebois was born and had lived all of her life in the Penetanguishene area. A member of the Parish of St. Ann's, Mrs. Charlebois was also a member of the Ladies of St. Anne. Funeral services were held at St. Ann's Memorial Church, Penetanguishene on April 14, 1987 with Rev. L. Dignard as the celebrant of the funeral mass. Inter- ment will follow later this spring at St. Ann's Cemetery, Penetanugishene. George Marshall was a past president of the Orillia Lions Club and of the Orillia Real Estate Board. He was a former Orillia and Bob Deschambault, John LeCamp, Larry and Greg Arbour and Kenneth Martin. Mrs. Martin leaves her daughters, Sister Kathleen Martin of Renfrew, Marie (Mrs. Leo LeCamp) and Eileen (Mrs. Gilbert Deschambault) both of Penetanguishene, sister, Zita Grise of Pene- tanguishene and brothers, Morris James Rourke of Penetanguishene and Funeral Mass was held at St. Ann's Memorial Church, Penetanguishene on April 11, 1987 with Rev. D. Picone as the celebrant of the funeral mass. Inter- ment will be later this spring at St. Ann's Cemetery, Penetanguishene. Pall bearers were Alcime, Armand, Dan, Jack, Dave and Mark Hamelin. Mrs. Faragher is surviv- ed by her daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Dyer of California, and Mrs. marie MacKin- non of Ottawa, sister, Mrs. Evelyn Clark o9f Pene- tanguishene and seven grandchildren. The late mrs. Faragher was pre-deceased by her first husband, Orval Milligan, second husband, Jim Faragher, sisters Lydie Brunelle, Victoire Asselin and Lucie Hamelin and brothers, Adolphe, Eugene, Anthime, Ernest, Albert, Jules and Arthur Desroches. planning board member. On June 10, 1940, in Orillia, he married Agnes A. Woods. His wife, Agnes Anne Marshall, son Garry of Toronto, daughters Donna (Mrs. Bernard Clause) of Emery Rourke of Victoria Harbour. The late Mrs. Martin is survived by 14 grand- children and 20 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Martin was pre- deceased by her husband, John Martin and son, Gerald Martin. Arthur Patenaude Mr. Arthur' (Bun) Patenaude died at his home in Penetanguishene on April 9, 1987 following a brief illness at the age of 65 years. Mr. Patenaude had lived all of his life in the Pene- tanguishene area. Funeral services were held at the Martin Funeral Home, Penetanguishene on April 13, 1987 with Rev. L. Dignard as the of- ficiating clergy.Cremation followed the funeral ser- vice and the cremated re- mains will be interred at St. Ann's Cemetery, Penetanguishene. Mr. Patenaude is surviv- ed by his wife, Rite (Dupuis) Patenaude of Penetanguishene, daughters, Lynda Sharp and Bonnie Patenaude of Penetanguishene, son, Peter Patenaude of Pene- tanguishene and brothers, Bill and Joe Patenaude, both of Penetanguishene.
