CANADA'S LARGES TOURING ILLUSION SHOW Starring: Sponsored by: Licences now available The recent cold weather has fishermen thinking about pleasant days in warm fish huts on the ice covered lakes and rivers of our province. Anglers are repairing fish huts, buying new tackle, overhauling old gear and reading up on those tasty fish recipes. This year anglers are reminded that they need something new. As of January 1, 1987 most residents of Ontario bet- ween the age of 18 and 64 will require a licence to fish in the province. The licences are now on sale from a network of more than 3,000 vendors across the province, including seventy issuers in the Sim- coe/Dufferin County area, and most fish hut operators. The new licence will cost $10 for the year or $5 for any four consecutive days and they are expected to produce as much as $9 million in their first year of sale. Funds equivalent to the amount generated by the licences will be spent on such activities as fish habitat rehabilitation, upgrading law enforce- ment, fish culture facilities, sport fish enhancement and the Community Fisheries Involvement Program. If you are anxious to get the jump on your buddies and buy your 1987 Ontario Resident Angling Sport Fishing Licence, the licences are now available at the following local issuers: Midland and Area Canadian Tire Store Mountainview Mall R.R. 2, Midland L4R 4K2 Picnic Island Resort Honey Harbour POE 1E0 Honey Harbour Town Centre Honey Harbour POE 1E0 Ken Gauthier Sport Goods P_O Box 329 Penetanguishene LOK 1P0 R & R Enterprise Sports 27 Main Street Box 1274 Penetanguishene LOK 1P0 Severn Lodge Port Severn LOK 1S0 The magic of We're having a party 5 = JEFF EVASON Midland Lions Club.
