Police were encouraged by the lack of impaired driv- ing charges from Oct. 14 to according to police reports, they investigated 10 motor vehicle accidents, four in- volving personal injury, and four property damage. Also that week, the Midland detachment in- vestigated 87 general oc- currences. Twelve of these break and enters, two wilful damage and two non-sufficient funds cheques. The police laid five charges.
