Penetang school report The school year has started off well with the new semester system in full swing. Everyone seems to be adapting well to the situation and enjoying it also. The Students Council with Jennifer D'Aoust as President, Stephanie Greenfield as Vice Presi- dent, Mike Morrison as Social Convenor, Susan DesRochers acting as Secretary and David Forget as Treasurer are doing an excellent job in welcoming everybody back for another school year. The basketball, football, and volleyball season has started and it looks like a promising year ahead. Junior Achievement has already begun courses to teach eager students how to run a business. On September twelfth twenty-nine honour _ students set out for Bark Lake to enjoy such things as sailing, windsurfing, hiking and leadership training. According to Mr. Battricks "the trip went very well." Last Wednesday many students over the age of seventeen went to the Midland Civic Centre to give blood to the Red Cross which held their third blood donor clinic of the year. That just about raps it up for this week and I would just like to welcome all the new students and teachers to E.S.P.S.S. and wish everyone the best of luck in the 1986-87 school year.
