The Simcoe County Book Exchange held at our Library this month yielded a total of 2,137 new books. Do come in and browse or borrow. During the summer we have had many visitors come into our Library. These included Mr. and Mrs. J.G. Young, plus two friends. They brought with them a donation of books by the architect of this building, Mr. James Gelleney. Mr. Peter Rudy, another guest, came to see our model ship Assiniboia. Mr. J.G. Young built this model, and was a former crew member. As Mr. Rudy has one of his ships on display at Maheu's Restaurant, he was particularly interested. We also had Mrs. Art Bell's two sisters from Hamilton in to visit. One of them, Mrs. Kent, works in the Hamilton Library and was especially interested in our building.
