? # i, we The man who crafted a gift for Princess Diana's first- born is among the artists par- ticipating in the arts and crafts show and sale which marks the opening weekend of Sainte-Marie among the Hurons near Midland. Blacksmith Don Pell of Hilisdale's Trillium Studios made the runners for a sleigh which was presented to Princess Diana and Prince Charles to commemorate the birth of their first child Mr. Pell will be one of 14 arts and crafts persons participating in the third annual Sainte- Marie opening show. Organizer Nancy Mosley explains: "The fascinating thing about this show is that everyone who is exhibiting is able to tie his or her craft with the site. Each art can be traced to the time of Sainte- Marie, or beyond." Exhibitors include Agnes Vogt who makes beautiful decorations with dried weeds and flowers; clockmaker Gilles Belanger; weaver John McCallum; wood chipper Walter Kubasta; woodworker John Mosley and the president of the Ontario Angora Associa- tion, Candace Carter of Thornhill.
