Workshop on recreation fo Recreation for Frail Older Adults will be the subject-matter during the Feb. 17 Recreation Workshop at Georgian Manor oo Penetanguishene. The Workshop will examine reereation for frail older adults, many over 80 years of age, perhaps with some physical and mental limitations, but still living in their own Jan. 18 - Feb.8 James Scrimgeour, Class of '82 will hold a solo exhibition of drawings and paintings Jan. 18 to Feb. 8 at the Barrie Campus of Georgian College. This Alumni Exhibition, which will be held in Room D101 of the Design and Visual Arts Building, will be open from 6 to 10 p.m. weekdays and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends. The artist will be present from 1 to 4 p.m. on opening day, Saturday Jan. 18. Jan. 21 The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Port MeNicoll, at 7 p.m. All people most welcome to attend this ecumenical service. Jan. 26 Annual general meeting of the Penetanguishene Progressive Conservative Association to be held on Monday, Jan. 20 at 7:30 p.m. in the Normandy Room, Canadian Legion, Penetang. The workshop would be of interest to staff of Day Care Facilities, Day Hospitals, Senior Centres, as well as Community Health Nurses, Social- Workers, Administrators and Volunteers / Activity Leaders in Nursing Homes and Homes for the Aged, although the workshop will not ad- dress the specific issues of the frail older adults living in an institution. Ms. Marty Thomas will be the workshop instructor.
