Se ee ce. + a Harold Phillips The late Harold Harper Phillips of Evans Drive, Balm Beach, died Aug. 13 1985, in Huronia District Hospital, al age 82. His illness lasted 23 months, The Peterborough, Ont., native was the son of George J. and Marie Phillips. He married his wife Mildred Marie Phillips in Welland, Ont., on Oct. 28, 1929. He retired to Balm Beach from Toronto. For 30 years he was a butcher with Loblaws. For 28 of those years he worked at 199 Ron- cesvales and Wright Avenue, Toronto. Harold Phillips had been retired for 17 years. He was a member of S!. Chads Anglican, and S!. Anne Anglican, both of Toronto. A com- mittee member of the Georgian Shores Swinging Seniors in Balm Beach, he helped organize a _ bowling league. As a young man he played softball and hard ball. He was an avid bowler. He coached Lakeside Lak- eside Softball in Toronto. His wife Mildred, daughters Gloria (Mrs. Daryl Brides) of Con- cord, Ont., Beverley (Mrs. Jack Stiles) of Calgary, Alta., Shirley Ann (Mrs. Herb Miyasaki) of Islington, On'., Marlene Jones of West Hill, Ont., brother Norman of White Horse, Yukon Territory, sister Olga Young of Willowdale, Ont., 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild sur- vive him. Rev. Harvey Markle officiated at the Funeral service held Aug. 15 in Nicholls Funeral Home. Interment in Lakeview Cemetery.
