Families from Midland and one from Cambridge took part in the funfilled afternoon. Barb Hoover, who is a park co-ordinator, had a complete itinerary of games thal were played by children and parents alike. Everyone who par- ticipated had loads of fun, as did those who stood back and watched some of the adults really gel back to the days of their youth. There were prizes in all categories given by Parks Canada in recognition of their 100th anniversary celebration. A presentation was made to Park Superintendent Robert Day by the Rotary Club honouring their 100th birthday and a_ large cake with the park logo in icing was enjoyed by all. After the busy and active afternoon of games etc., the children enjoyed a supper of hamburgers, hot dogs, soda pop and trim- mings. A sunny warm day made the whole day a venture that will probably be an annual affair and be remem- bered for a long cold winter by those who were there to partake of the fun, games and some good Rotary laughs.
