The provincial Ministry of Colleges and Universities program will give Seabourn three months to introduce one or more young people to his profession, without committing them to a full time job. He plans to involve the successful ap- plicant(s) in the supervision of a range of Y activities including the pre-school program, and the teen gym and Swims. Seabourn, a Humber College Recreation Leadership graduate, says OCAP experience would be excellent preparation for anybody planning io enroll in a_ similar course, OCAP applicants mus! be between 16 and 24 years of age, out of school for at least three months, and currently unemployed. OCAP ""trainees" receive a $100 week training allowance, but previous OCAP "trainees" are ineligible for further assistance from the program.
