Answering for Charlebois were Greg St. Amant (2), and David Robillard. Performance Sports appear to be almost invincible this season as they have only one loss. Thursday night was no different as they rolled to an 8-2 victory over the Commodore Hotel. Kirk Motor Swales led the way with a hat trick, while Carl Weber added a pair. Other scorers were Dave Wright, Rick Rever, and _ Chris Wright. Trent Maracle scored both goals for the Hotel. Thursday's fourth game saw _ Hindson Marine defeat E&R Discount 6-1. Dave Lefaive accounted for most of the Marine scoring as he chalked up five tallies. Bill Hackney and John Yorke chipped in with singletons. Dave Ruston was the only Discounter to light the scoreboard. In Sunday's action at the Penetang Arena, S. Charlebois Haulage won by default over the hapless E&R Discount 2-0 Jug City Jets kept pace with Performance Motor Sports by edging Hindson Marine 6-3. Terry King, Dave Genier scored twice for the Jets with singles coming off the sticks of Brian and Blair McReynolds. Scott Hook, Mike Brunelle, and Glen Hirlehey accounted for the Marine coring. In game two, the Stoneleigh Pontiacs continued their recent winning ways by downing the Com- modore Hotel 4-1. Paul Duval(2), Mac Spears, and Keith Moreau supplied the fire power for the Pontiacs. Chuck Tanti notched the single marker for the Hotel. The final game of the day saw Mr. Car Wash come within a point in the standings of fifth place John Desroches Construction Limited by defeating them by an 8-3 score. Steve Paul and John Johnson' each tallied twice while singles went to Randy Asselin, Al Whidden, Jeff Dunn, and Dan Lethbridge.
