The Library contract will be void when the new Library Act, comes into force. The Planning Advisory Committee needs new members. They will advertise by posters. These new people will be involved in the new waterfront plan. There will be vacancies on the Committee of Adjust- ment in the New Year. L.A.C.S.C. will be applying for another Brick Grant to finish- work on the Municipal Building. At a special meeting of N.S.W.M.A. Coun- cillor Jack Haight was appointed' _ to the Finance Committee. In Perkinsfield the mains are _ almost completed. Those not done will be finished in the spring. Debentures are ap- proved for _ propor- tionate share of the water system assets. New requests for hook- in to the water supply have been denied as they are outside the established perimeter. No more Mr. Nice Guy! The municipality has issued enough warnings. From now on any cars parked on the snow rout will be fined. Parks and Recreation will be assisting the Mini-Bonhomme Committee, in that they will be looking after the King and Queen, assisting with the brochures, and the sale of buttons. The Realty Taxes have been written off for the Medical Centre, which-should help. The Ministry' of Transport is offering the Municipality some land for sale. More on this later. The next meeting of council will be held on Jan. 14. The Mini-Bonhomme Committee, along with Parks and. Recreation, will be meeting at the Municipal Offices at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 8. Peewees eCont. from P 10 and Darren Haines showed some fancy _Stickwork for his tally. Other well deserved assists went to Gerald Martin, with three, Jeff Parent, Paul Turner and David Chambers, each with one. In the evening they put together a 5-2 win over a team from Pelham, Ontario. However, the Pelham club gave our boys some cause for concern as they came out strong and immediately got the first goal. This 1-0 lead continued until the close of the first period when Doug Beardsall stole the puck behind the Pelham net and was able to move out and tuck it in the corner. This goal put some spark in the team as Mark Elliot, assisted from Jason Tapscott, carried a 2-1 lead into the second period. From here Elmvale never looked back as they fired three more goals in the middle frame Robby Conn with two, one a solo effort and the other assisted by Doug Beardsall and Jeff Parent. Beardsall, continuing his hard working play, notched his second goal of the game helped out by Robby Conn. Pelham put on the pressure in the third period and managed to slip one more past Kevin Fay who played a steady game in net.
