ae TT Thousands ofcoins Ininventory | Between 25,000 and 30,000 of the coins commemorating the visit to the Martyrs' Shrine of Pope John Paul II remain unsold, Midland's clerk estimates. Orders are being received for the coins from Toronto and other places. Clerk Fred Flood expects the coins can be sold through the coming year "without a great deal of difficulty." Midland marked $80,000 in its 1984 budget for spending on the Pope's visit. The town has still to establish how much was spent by which departments, the clerk said. New series is ready Dear Editor: Huronia Performing Arts for Children has a new series of performances ready to begin this month. This season we have invited families to join us in celebrating Ontario's bicentennial with shows encompassing a wide range of performing arts - from dance to puppetry. This will be our most ambitious year, providing a total of seven shows and, for the first time, four workshops. Children aged seven to twelve will have the opportunity to work with and learn from some of Canada's most talented professionals. The members of Huronia Performing Arts for Children are proud of and excited about this up- coming season. We want to extend our sincere gratitude to the many community groups who have supported us and helped to "get the show on the road."' Thank you Citizen-Times for your co-operation and excellent press coverage. We hope we may call on you throughout the season. We applaud the following organizations who directly donated funding for campaign management and programming: Decor Metal Products, Bay Mills Ltd.; McCready and Shirriff; Royal Canadian Legion-Penetang; Midland Rotary Club; Pillsbury Canada Ltd.; Indusmin Ltd.; Ernst Leitz Ltd.: NEBS Business Forms Ltd.; Mitsubishi Electronics Ltd.; Royal Canadian Legion-Midland; Hacker, Gignac and Rice; Knights of Columbus; Atlas Block Co. Ltd.; Midland 'Town Centre; Gianetto's; Dock Lunch; Video Daze; McDonald's; Midland Buildall and Midland Y's Men. Your generosity is com- mendable. We cannot express enough appreciation to our ticket sellers for their tremendous efforts and community spirit. To our audience: we hope that you have enjoyed and have grown in artistic respect as you watched our productions of past years. We are looking forward to sharing our new season of per- formances with you. The Show can't go on without you!
