Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, will receive the first of these Bicentennial medals, a gold replica, when she visits Ontario next month. The medal, struck -at the Roayl Canadian Mint, Ottawa, sports the provincial coat of arms on one side and the Bicentennial symbol on the other. Municipalities are being asked to nominate individuals to receive the medals. The number of nominations per municipality depends on the population bul ranges from one to. 13. Sympathy of the community is extended to Mrs. Beryl Healey on the passing of her son- in-law Mr. Harold Kerr during the weekend.
