The crowd came (to its feet when Shawn McConkey shot Penetang Minors ahead 2-1. However, with three minutes remaining Oshawa Bruins tied the score and force the sudden death overtime. Three minutes into the sudden-death Overtime Tim Mason scored the winner and brought Penetang its first championship of any type in six years. An appreciative crowd cheered On as each team member received the Silver Medal for the win. In the Championship, Midland took a 3-0 lead after two periods and never looked back. Midland made it 4-0 early in the third before Competitors from across Canada and the United States will be competing in this event, with the top three Canadians representing Canada at the World Para-Ski Champions- hips in 1985.
